Application
The Komara? 30 system consists of a skimmer; a diesel driven power pack; hydraulically driven positive displacement transfer pump and a site hose kit. The system uses four independent banks of oleophilic discs to draw oil into the skimmer. Oil adheres to the surface of the discs as they rotate through the water; and is then removed by scrapers mounted on both sides of each disc. Contaminant is collected in a sump and drawn to the remote transfer pump.
The skimmer system has an oil recovery rate of up to 30m3/hour combined with very low free water pickup; which under normal conditions is less than 2% of the recovered volume. The power pack is electric start and can be fitted with a spark arrestor and an automatic overspeed shutdown to improve safety.

Hydraulic 2 x 15m length 3/8? NB with quick release couplings to skimmer and power pack 2 x 5m length 1/2? NB with quick release couplings to power pack and pump
Suction 10m length 4? NB semi-rigid with camlock couplings both ends and pump.
(4? x 3? camlock adaptor supplied for connection to skimmer)
Discharge 10m length 4? NB semi-rigid with camlock coupling from the pump.
