PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The FD-500316X10 Elect. Hi Alloy 500 3/16″ welding electrodes are high-alloy stick welding rods engineered for repair welding and joining of dissimilar steels or unknown steel compositions. The special high-alloy system and flux formulation give excellent arc stability, reduced cracking risk, and dense, porosity-free weld deposits, even when using AC “cracker box” welding machines. This makes them well-suited to maintenance and repair work where metal composition isn’t always known or uniform — such as in structural repairs, fabrication shops, and industrial maintenance applications.
