PRODUCT FEATURES:
Used for shielded-metal-arc welding of Inconel alloy 625, Incoloy alloy 825, Inco alloy 25-6MO, and other molybdenum-containing stainless steels.
This electrode is also used for surfacing of steel and for welding various corrosion-resistant alloys such as alloy 20.
The weld metal has high strength at room and elevated temperatures and has exceptional corrosion resistance, including resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and polyphonic acid stress-corrosion cracking.
Useful for many dissimilar joints involving Inconel alloys, Incoloy alloys, stainless steels, low-alloy steels, and carbon steels.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The Oxford Alloy OAI-E11218 ROD is a specialty nickel-chromium-molybdenum coated welding electrode classified AWS ENiCrMo-3 and ASME SFA 5.11, formulated for SMAW stick welding of nickel-base alloys such as Inconel® 625, Incoloy® 825, and other molybdenum-containing stainless and corrosion-resistant alloys. It delivers exceptional corrosion resistance, high tensile strength at both room and elevated temperatures, and good performance in all welding positions. This rod is also useful in welding dissimilar materials (e.g., nickel alloys to stainless/low-alloy steels) and is commonly used in petrochemical, power generation, and high-temperature service applications.
