PRODUCT FEATURES:
Used for shielded-metal-arc welding of Inconel alloys 600, 601, and 690.
The weld metal of this electrode has excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance and can meet stringent radiographic requirements.
Also used in dissimilar welds such as Inconel alloys and Incoloy alloys joined to carbon steels, stainless steels, nickel and Monel® alloys; Monel alloys joined to carbon steels; nickel joined to stainless steels; and stainless steels joined to carbon steels.

The Oxford Alloys OXF1821-8 is a high-performance nickel-based coated electrode of 1/8″ diameter, designed for demanding industrial applications requiring superior performance in high-temperature, high-stress environments. Engineered for SMAW welding of nickel-alloys such as Inconel® 600/601/690 and for dissimilar metal joints (nickel alloys to carbon or stainless steels), this electrode offers robust weld deposits with excellent oxidation and creep resistance. It delivers premium quality welds under stringent requirements, including radiographic inspection.
