The Oxford Alloys E8018-B6 Coated Electrode – 5/32 in is a low-hydrogen, chromium-molybdenum stick welding rod engineered to weld high-alloy creep-resisting steels used in demanding service environments like power plants, pressure vessels and petrochemical piping. Classified AWS A5.5 E8018-B6, this electrode produces weld deposits with strong tensile and yield strength, good ductility and resistance to cracking at elevated temperatures. Its robust flux coating yields a smooth, stable arc with minimal spatter and easy slag removal, making it suited for heavy-section work and high-performance welding applications.
