PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The Washington Alloy WASH-AL34518A ROD AL345 E4043 1/8″ is a flux-coated aluminum stick welding electrode designed to join or repair aluminum and its alloys using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Classified to the E4043 AWS specification, this electrode contains about 5 % silicon, delivering welds that are machinable, dense, and essentially free of porosity when used correctly. It offers a stable arc with minimal spatter and reduced fuming, making it suitable for production and maintenance welding on aluminum sheet, plate, castings, and extrusions. Typical applications include tanks, pipes, automotive components, refrigeration and appliance parts, and general fabrication.
