PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The Washington Alloy WASH‑NI99332 ROD NI99 ENi‑CI 3/32″ is a high‑purity nickel stick electrode designed specifically for welding and repairing cast iron. Classified to AWS A5.15 ENi‑CI, its roughly 99 % nickel core wire deposits soft, ductile weld metal that can be machined, drilled, tapped, or shaped after welding. This makes it ideal for applications where maximum machinability and minimal weld stress are required, such as thin‑section parts, housings, frames, and castings. The welds also offer a close color match to cast iron, and the electrode performs well in all positions using either AC or DC+ current.
