The Irwin 1882788 Replacement Drill Bit is designed as a wood countersink replacement bit built with a tapered drill and widened flutes to deliver fast, clean pilot holes. It includes a 1/4-inch quick-change shank to reduce slipping in standard chucks and to be compatible with all 1/4-inch quick-change chucks, including impact drills. The bit integrates an adjustable four-cutter counterbore, which cuts and clears chips efficiently and allows for control over pilot hole depth.
