"Water pumps are used to move water from one point to another, and can be submersible or external. In order to ensure that water is available at sufficient pressure at all times, small pressure tanks are utilized, usually mounted adjacent to the pump, so that the pump (which senses changes in the pressure of the system caused by the flow of water) does not have to turn itself on and off every time someone opens a tap.
The Pentax CAM series is a self-priming centrifugal pump ideal for household application.
