PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Rubi Delta Leveling System Clips 1/32? were designed to avoid the creation of installation eyebrows during the installation of ceramic tiles, both on floors and walls. The Rubi Delta Leveling System Kit also prevents the movement of the tiles during the setting of the adhesive and, during installation, the number of corrections in the position of the ceramic tile itself is reduced. The basic principle of the Delta Leveling System is that of pressing the highest piece, until matching its position with the adjacent tiles, thus obtaining a substantial improvement of the surface flatness. Rubi Delta Leveling System Clips 1/32? are recommended for formats of 12? x 12? or greater and varied thicknesses of up to 12, 15 or 20 mm, depending on the model of clip used. The use of the Delta System is fast, easy and intuitive. Once the installation is complete, the elements of the system are removed by impact (kick or mallet), striking the clips always in the direction of the joint. The Delta System wedges can be reused several times. The Rubi Delta Leveling System Pliers is designed to be used both in installation work of horizontal (floor) and vertical (cladding) ceramic tiles. The main function of the Delta leveling pliers is to give the wedge the necessary pressure to allow the leveling of the ceramic tile. See 1/16? clips and 1/8? clips.
How to Install Tile with the Delta Leveling System
Step 1: Spread your tile adhesive and lay the tile. Place Rubi Delta clips underneath the tile slightly back from the edge. Keep the clip firm against the tile as the clip acts as a spacer
Step 2: Set the adjacent tile firmly into the adhesive. Butt the tile against the Delta clip giving the 1/32" joint (if a larger joint is required spacers can be used, or set the required joint size). Slide the Delta wedges through the clips until they are firmly leveling both tiles
Step 3: Using your thumb, push the Delta wedge with the right amount of pressure required to create the perfect finish. If you need more pressure on the tile, use the Delta Leveling Pliers. Once the tiles are locked in position this is how they will stay until the adhesive sets. You can still slightly adjust the joint width while the adhesive is setting if needed without disrupting the height of the tiles
Step 4: After the adhesive has set, you can remove the wedges and clips easily with a rubber mallet on the walls and by mallet or your foot on the floor. Hit the clip on its side in the direction of the tile joint and the wedge and clip will dislodge from the tile at the breakpoint below the tile, leaving the joint free for grouting or silicone expansion
