Round Drain Grate blocks these intruders from entering and potentially clogging the pipeline, and is ideal for draining light flows of stormwater from small lawns, landscaped areas, patios, and walkways. The 4 in. Round Drain Grate, also known as a drain cover, has an open surface area of 3.9 sq. in. and a flow rate of 12 GPM. Connects to 4 in. sewer and drain pipe & fittings, 4 in. single-wall corrugated pipe, and 4 in. triple-wall pipe for a soil-tight fit. The pipe grate is ADA Compliant and heel-proof. Built to stand up to the elements, it's made of polyethylene, a type of plastic, using a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from the sun. As part of a complete drainage system, the grate blocks leaves and debris as it drains water entering drain pipes. The pipes carry the water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench.
