The FingerSaver is designed to be held by you or held in position by a work colleague to further reduce the risk of injury.
By securing your Slogging Spanner (or other tool) in the loop at the end of the FingerSaver it allows you to hold it firmly in place while its being struck, all the while keeping your own or a colleagues hands safely away from the impact point.
The added benefit of using the fingersaver is that it also allows the FingerSaver to absorb the shock of the striking impact that would otherwise travel directly into the body. Over time, this can permanently damage the blood vessels, nerves and muscles in the hand and arm (known as Hand-Arm Vibration System [HVAS]).
The FingerSaver tool allows you to mitigate any risk involved in the task at hand and it gives you the confidence to perform the work activity safely, without injury to yours or others hands.
Fingersaver has also been designed with other safety measures in mind such as its robust plastic body will not shatter if accidentally struck.
