The SFB is developed to meet all current requirements for a rapid deployment coupled with financial sustainability. The SFB is a light-weight boom made of highly durable materials making it easy to deploy and designed to capture and contain floating oil and debris.
The SFB represents a cost-effective way of maintaining readiness in multiple scenarios and environments ranging from industrial sites to rivers and harbors. Manufactured from PVC fabric with built in foam floatation; top tension cable; chain ballast and connectors; the versatile system is made in accordance with customer-specific needs.
The SFB is available in sizes ranging from 150 mm (6ö) to 635 mm (24ö) total height. The closed-cell foam logs are 1800 mm (6 ft) long. The most commonly ordered is the SFB 18ö; which has a section length of 30m; freeboard 150mm; draft 305mm; height 455mm; weight 3kg/m.
