DETENTION OF FALLS (Dorsal Ring) The whole body harness is used as a component of a personal fall arrest system. He system must include a full-body harness and a connection subsystem (sling with absorber Energy). The maximum stopping force must not exceed 8kN (1800lb). Harnesses equipped with a front eye as fall arrest element must be used only as part of a personal fall arrest system that limits the maximum fall distance to 0.6m limit the maximum stopping force to 900lb. RESTRICTION (Dorsal loop) The full body harness is used as a component of a restraint system to prevent the user reaches the free fall zone. A fall restriction system must include a body harness whole and a sling or restriction line. POSITIONING (Side rings) Full body harness equipped with system to support the user on vertical high surfaces allowing work with free hands. CONTROLLED RISING AND LOWERING (Front Loop) Harness equipped with frontal hoop that allows controlled ascent and descent work.
