The Makita SG1251J 1400W groover has an adjustable cutting width in 9 stages by inserting spacers. Designed for precise groove cutting in walls, floors, stone, concrete, cement boards, sand-lime brick and plasterboard. Equipped with a 5" / 125mm blade, this cutter delivers efficient performance for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. It’s perfect for electrical trenches up to a maximum depth of 30 mm installations, pipework, milling pipe and other applications requiring neat, clean grooves. SJS (Super Joint System) to prevent motor burn out to counter block discs. With a soft start, constant speed control and electronic current limiter for overload protection. Can be connected to a vacuum cleaner for a clean working environment. Furthermore, with the self-detaching brushes and an electronic variator, it is one of the best groovers on the market.
