Powered by Makita's 18v LXT Lithium Ion Batteries, the DUH523 is an effective & user friendly Hedge Trimmer, featuring a cutting width of 0.6"(15mm) & a stroke rate of 1350spm. Hedges can be trimmed quickly with the DUH523's 20-1/2" (520mm) blade, plated with stain free, anti abrasion non-electrolyzed nickel for long lasting performance. Precise control & handling is provided by the trimmer's 5 anti-vibration cushions, designed to absorb excess kinetic energy from the motor-crank & blade, & by the DUH523's comfortable, rubberised soft grip handle. Blade replacement is simple, not requiring any disassembly of the housing, & an easily visible battery capacity warning light lets you know when recharging is required.
