PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The Washington Alloy WASH‑E2209‑532 ROD E2209‑16 5/32×14 SS is a high‑performance duplex stainless steel stick welding electrode engineered for joining 22 % chromium duplex stainless steels like 2205 and related alloys. It delivers a smooth arc with minimal spatter, easy strikes and re‑strikes, and a self‑releasing slag that produces clean bead appearance. The deposited weld metal offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion, cracking, and pitting, making this rod a solid choice for critical fabrication and maintenance in industries such as petrochemical, oil & gas, and chemical process plants.
