PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The WASHINGTON WASH‑BCUP318 ROD SLVSODER 5% 1/8 BRASS is a 1/8″ diameter silver‑phosphorus‑copper brazing/solder rod formulated to join brass, copper and bronze in torch brazing and high‑temperature soldering applications. With approximately 5 % silver and ~6 % phosphorus in copper, this alloy flows easily into capillary joints when heated, creating durable metallurgical bonds. It conforms to the AWS A5.8 BCuP‑3 brazing alloy standard and is suitable for HVAC, refrigeration and general non‑ferrous metal assembly where strong, consistent brazed joints are required.
