PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The Washington Alloy WASH‑SUPERB316 ROD TNSIWL 3/16 M/SS HRDF is a molybdenum‑alloyed austenitic stainless steel filler rod designed for GTAW/TIG and manual applications on 316‑grade stainless steels. Engineered for excellent corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength, and reliable high‑temperature performance, this 3/16″ diameter rod is suitable for fabricating and repairing equipment in chemical processing, petrochemical, marine, food processing, and heat exchanger applications where alloys containing chromium, nickel, and molybdenum are required. Its composition promotes resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride‑bearing environments.
