PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Thermal Dynamics True Series Cutmaster 42 #1-4200 is not only one of the most affordable entry-level plasma systems on the market, it is also one of the few systems with the ability to increase power when switching from 120V to 230V. On 120V input, the Cutmaster delivers 27 Amps of output power. Switch to 230V input and you’ve got 40 Amps to work with. It literally gives you “The power of two machines in one.”
Designed to cut up to 1/4" with ease and up to 5/8" when needed, the Cutmaster 42 is perfect for DIY’ers, auto and marine repair, HVAC cutting, light fabrication, roofing construction and trade school use. Its portable, lightweight design and handy carrying case makes it easy to transport to different job sites, too. With the Cutmaster 42, you can work all day at the recommended cut capacity—and when you need that extra punch, you can be confident it’s there.
Since the Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 42 incorporates Vent2Shield (V2S) technology, it can be run with a considerably smaller compressor--which means less weight to carry around and full compatibility with 120V. In addition to the carrying case, Cutmaster includes gloves, glasses and an SL40 plasma torch.
