PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This FBA is about the best value for money to get you working safely. From a legal stand point all oxy / fuel sets must use a flashback arrestor on each gas supply i.e both oxygen & fuel gas. These "GG" FBA have threaded inlet and outlet connections and are really convenient to work with.
Please note that these FBA are not for high flow applications due to the size of the flame arresting element. The sintered filter is compatible for use with oxygen (or air) upto 20 bar working pressure. These GG FBA may be used for oxy/acetylene welding upto 30mm thickness - all sizes upto #90 or AHT #100 with sufficient flow of acetylene from multiple acetylene cylinders. When used for cutting the pressure drop become significant at the peak which means these FBA are best suited to thicknesses below 150mm where the pressure drop would equate to 2,5 bar on the oxygen i.e. with 5m long hoses, set 9 bar for a working pressure of 6 bar at the torch.
